Old Bear and his Cub went to the Ocean

Old Bear, our '79 Wing for those of you who are not familiar ,took us and the little Bear Cub all the way to Oregon and back ! Two weeks, 3600 miles, blue skies and smooth sailing all the way.

Ready to take on Hwy 12 along the Lochsa River.

Eastern Oregon was a pleasant surprise, great roads, no traffic and plenty of nice camping in Nat. Forests

Lots of covered bridges in the Cascades

Finally, the big pond    :slayer

Awesome Aircraft Museum in McMinnville. I opted to pay extra to sit in Howard Huges pilot seat , what a treat !

Typical road in the Central Cascades, at times we went for an hour without meeting any traffic.

Crater Lake  on the way home.

Looks like an awesome trip! Super pic of Crater Lake, I was there as a kid and have wanted to see it again ever since.
