Outdoor bike nights??????
« on: March 25, 2016, 07:26:03 PM »
Ok, it is almost to the point of meeting outdoors for Thursday bike nights. I think most folks are tired of Sonic, food is just so so and the service is terrible. However, it does offer plenty of tables and our precious motorcycles are right there in plain sight. I personally would like to find a new spot, so lets open this thread up to suggestions.

A couple of things to consider:

A central location...
Good food...
Outdoor tables....
Motorcycles in plain view....
And COFFEE  }v

A friend has suggested Enzo's on Horizon dr. to me today. I think that is a fabulous idea, with plenty of parking for the motorcycles in plain view of the patio. Downfall is that seating might be very limited, and could be a bit pricey for just a hang out night.

What say you?

Have a good and Godly day, for what lasting value is a good day if it is not also a Godly day?

I was at Alzannes on 23rd and North getting a breakfast burrito and realized that that might not be a bad place either?
I like Enzo's as well, good food, for sure.
Who are the grateful dead? And why do they keep following me?

Citrola's, on 24 rd. has a nice patio on the east side of the bld., good parking for the bikes in view and bike friendly owners who would be happy to have us, but it is pricy.  Boston's, also on 24 rd. has a nice patio for outside seating but also may be too pricy for a "hang-out"

Well I just had some lunch at Pinks BBQ on 5th and Belford, pulled pork sandwich is pretty amazing. I chatted with t he owner about bikes nights there, and they loved the idea. This is a small family run outfit and they were super appreciative that we thought of them. They will stay open for us as late as we want as well. The parking will work out well with the full glass front of the restaurant, so we can see the motorcycles only a few steps away. Plenty of seating, and very family oriented.

So saying all of that, let's plan to meet there next Thursday eve 4/7.  :slayer
