Project X
« on: November 03, 2013, 04:43:07 PM »
Project X is in the works.  There will be no pictures as I am to embarrassed with my choice of bike  :-[
But hey what does one expect for 80 bucks  ;D   24 hours after bringing it home it made the first noises.
The object this time is build a custom bike with junk on hand.Ultra low budget. The challenge is on.

I'm not ready to come out of the closet,, I mean the garage yet. Adrian was already making fun of it, he has the same one laying in his backyard, for his dog to have something to pee on........

I would say "YES" to all the above.

It just depends on what parts I find for it. It needs a seat, thinking single seat, bobber type  and low wide handlebars, like a beachcruiser bicycle...
To give you a hint, in Germany this bike was nicknamed  the SEWAGE PUMP     , how rude  :(

Well, whatever it is, as long as you mount a 204 grenade launcher on it, it will  be cool!  8)

That Brian is a smart cookie  ;D , just imagine what he could do with a couple old 450's  ;)

Yes, you're right, I've always been partial to them. I had an '81 back in Germany, my first real motorcycle.
Hauled my girlfriend an me all over Europe, never let me down. Only issue I had was when one of my
mufflers exploded in France. I think some jokster poured gas in it over night, when I fired it up in the morning
it blew the back end off and all the guts flew across the parking lot. Nobody likes the damn Krauts I guess  ;)
