Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
« on: September 16, 2012, 04:52:56 PM »
All for fun vintage / cafe ride that originated in Sydney AUS, they're going global this year.  Put on a suit, go for a ride.  I'm doing it, anybody interested in joining?  6pm, Sept 30th, in front of the Avalon?  Roll main street, ride North Ave up and back.  Stop off somewhere for a beer maybe?

Cheers!

It doesn't have to be a cafe, old is appropriate.  I think they're trying to encourage folks stay away from plastic bodied sport bikes but anything vintage or vintage styled is acceptable.

sorry I missed that...except I don't have a PROPER australian suit with cut-off pants and short sleeves!

Hasn't happened yet, still planning on riding.  Sept 30th, in front of the Avalon at 6pm.  Aussie dress shorts not required and mostly discouraged.  Though Angus Young would be proud, leg burns hurt.  :)
