2011 Bonneville Vintage GP

It's getting close to race time and that means road trip. This year the races are on Saturday Sept. 3rd and Sunday Sept.4th. My brother and I are planning to ride out to the Salt Lake City area on Friday Sept. 2nd. I think this year we will only stay for the races and bike show on Saturday and head home on Sunday. (there is no bike show on Sunday).  The tickets to the races are very reasonable. I think last year they were 10 or 12 bucks. The race track is about 25 miles southwest of Salt Lake City. There are places to stay or camp close by the track or you can stay in Salt Lake City it's so close. The races are real fun. One of the races has a running start where the riders have to sprint across the track to their bike, jump on, start and go. The sidecar racing is great too. The bike show on Saturday had so many cool machines under one tent-it was hard to pick one to vote for. The ride out (even the I-70 section) is beautiful.

If your interested in going don't be shy.
We would welcome the company going either direction
