I just might be able to help... I have a carb-stick, but we'd need to talk, before passing it off to someone else. Give me a call---ph. 210-1846 . I'm Paul/ringdingpaul (to those who know me !)

Rick,
I am looking for a temp fuel tank for the restart of my 1974 CB750K.  Tried to post a topic to the form and it would not go through.

You should be able to post it up in the "wanted" topic area. I will see if I can move it.

I wanted to post a picture of my project.  Do you need so many posts before you can post a picture?

No, dont need minimum of posts on here for pics or to post up in the for sale section. Most members use a photo hosting site like "Photobucket"," Snapfish" or similar. Really easy to post pics.

Posting pics instructions here: http://westerncovintage.com/index.php?topic=32.0

I havent figured out how to move your post yet. :embarrassed:

Thanks Rick.  I will try again.  Hey I stripped out a bolt hole on my engine where the front oil hose bolts in.  Looking for some help with a helicoil.

Hey good news, I think.  I was able to clean up the hole with a 6 mm tap and get the bolt to bottom out.  Will be using a bit blue Locktite to help.  No Helicoil for now, but...

That's great, glad you were able to clean up the threads. "Timeserts" are a lot like Helicoils, but often work better. If it comes down to needing an insert, check out the Timeserts.

Rick thanks for the tip, I have not heard of Timeserts, but will look into that.  Working hard on my project with the intention of getting in the show on June 4.  Is there any deadline for registering a bike?

It will be great to see your CB at the show. You can register it on site the morning of the show between 8:30 am and 10:00 am.

I just saw this post but not before I posted a question about the Motion Pro sync device I have.  I do not have any experience using this and if you look at my post you will see I am looking for help, but at least I have the device, however, it may need some addition blue fluid.

Oops, I just noticed that post I replied to was almost 2 year old.  Never mind!
